After you get in touch with support, one of our support technicians will work with you to figure out what you need, the scope of work and associated fees, and when your server will be temporarily offline so that the hardware changes are implemented.

• Dedicated Servers have the most computing power of all of Zumiv’s server products.

Dedicated Server
Individual single-tenant physical server aka a bare metal server. Compared to our other server products (Cloud VPS, Cloud VDS, Storage VPS, and Custom Dedicated Servers), Dedicated Servers have the most computing power and storage availability for cheap. Not to mention, Dedicated Servers are great for applications that need quick CPU and RAM response times.

Cloud VDS
Virtualized dedicated servers that have more computing power than their Cloud VPS counterparts, but not as much as Dedicated Servers. And similar to Dedicated Servers, each Virtual Dedicated Server has its own dedicated resources, so you get 100% computing power for your applications – no sharing whatsoever between different VDS.

Given all of this, VDS can also be used for any virtualization projects and for supporting highly demanding applications. Note that all Cloud VDS plans come with additional VNC access and you get full root access to your VDS.
